I (Daniel Shiels) had the open line and the melody for the verse. Told brother Darcy that I have something get in the studio. Showed him what i had. Press record and Darcy spit the rest of the lyrics out in one take we didn't change anything. As for the guitar in that pass i just went with my gut on distortion on and off. And how the bridge went. We never changed any of that either.
